“Child of the King by Vincent Nelson is a remarkable book—a beautiful, honest, and stirring story of failure, loss, faith, forgiveness and redemption, that takes the reader from the dark depths of a jail cell to the soaring summit of Mt. Kilimanjaro and beyond. I highly recommend this inspiring book, which will touch your heart and give meaning to your life.”
“Raw and real, offering freedom to be authentically you without fear.”

“Our walk with God isn’t what we expect. It often feels more like climb up a steep slope. Our expectations of life's journey betray us with their promises of easy paths, shortcuts to the top, and safe trails without ledges. Vince Nelson has made this climb and has discovered firsthand the devastation from chasing false summits. But unlike many people who have stumbled, he has kept climbing with God—and he reminds us that we can do the same. If you’ve ever had deep regrets in your walk with the Lord, Child of the King can help you learn to see your failures as a toehold to greater heights for His glory.”
“This book is Real, Raw and an Authentic look at one man's journey to discover his own self worth!”
“I'm incredibly grateful God used the last days of my brother's life, Alan Byerly, on Mt. Kilimanjaro to give Vince the courage to share his story in a transparent way. It is my prayer that Vince’s story will impact the lives of others, leading many to the freedom to live the incredible destiny that’s waiting to be lived.”
“With my travels around the world I've seen that every human begin has two fundamental needs...to be loved and find meaning in life. My friend Vince Nelson has discovered the path to experiencing both of these through his own journey of brokenness and healing while climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. If you're on a journey to discover love, honor, purpose and significance for your life, then I encourage you to read Child of the King.”
“This is a book a Father will pass on to his children, creating waves of impact among generations; profoundly guiding every reader through layers of bondage into freedom's open arms.”
